1973 IH Transtar CO4070A CABOVER tractor. - Price: $5,350.00 in Woodford, Illinois

xxxx Cabover Transtar, first generation COxxxxA in absolutely great condition for a 40 year old truck. Has an 8V71 318 Detroit, 13 speed, single axle on spring ride, and get this....only 131,000 miles! It was a local household moving company truck down in Connecticut and had a very easy life, I'm the second owner since new. Interior is very nice, hardly any wear. Original, uncomfortable seat even!
The truck does need some tinkering of course, but overall it's rust free, and very collectible. Needs a brake valve and a little minor rear brake hardware work, as the mice nested in them and created a rust issue in the brake springs and hardware. Easy enough to deal with. Should trailer it home, it sat for a few years so I'd recommend hauling it back.
Imagine this old gal cleaned up to pull a camper trailer, or just go to the antique truck shows...it'll attract a lot of attention no doubt. It does just sitting here.
